American Legion Post 284 Veteran Service Officers
The Post 284 Veteran Service Officers (VSO’s) are volunteers trained to provide professional and informed assistance to veterans and their families, free of charge. VSO’s assist veterans with navigating the VA process. The VSO team’s primary focus is assisting with VA disability benefits, but our compassionate professionals also offer information, referrals, and resources on various veteran topics, such as, education, employment, business, survivor benefits, adaptive equipment, housing, and other services.

We are only scheduling appointments on Wednesdays due to a shortage of volunteers. The available time slots are 10 am, 12 noon, and 2 pm.
